Rana Rudra Pratap Singh also has experience fighting in international mixed martial arts promotions. He has competed at ONE Warrior Series 10, where he fought against South Korea’s Seung Hyun Cho on 19th Feb, 2020. In that fight, Rana defeated him via guillotine choke in Round 1.
He has also fought in BRAVE Combat Federation, where he suffered his sole loss to Ali Guliev at BRAVE CF 57. The loss was a controversial one.
In this fight, Azerbaijan’s Guliev avoided a takedown attempt by kneeing Rana Rudra in the chin with a powerful blow while he was already down. Rudra was on her knees, and it was obvious that the strike was an illegal one. Guliev was instantly docked two points by referee Dec Larkin, but Rudra chose to carry on.
Rudra, who was visibly pained and hadn’t entirely recovered, decided to continue. With ease, Guliev stopped a takedown attempt by Rudra and then pummelling him. Rudra was slow to stand back up once Guliev opted to let him up, therefore the referee decided to end the fight.
