Raul Rosas Jr is the latest hot topic in mixed martial arts as the youngest UFC fighter of all time, and the prodigy has his long team goals already envisioned- becoming the youngest UFC champion to break the still-standing record of Jon Jones.

Raul Rosas Jr (6-0) impressed a lot with his performance on Tuesday night during the Dana White Contenders Series 55 held this Tuesday at the UFC Apex. The 17-year-old Bantamweight defeated 25-year-old Mando Gutierrez by unanimous decision.
The result not only kept him undefeated but also caught the attention of UFC President Dana White, who gave Rosas a UFC contract. Many were unsure if Rosas was going to get a contract given his young age, but the Mexican had no doubts that it would happen.
“Hell no, I’m here for a reason,” Rosas told reporters after the fight, when asked if he was worried about not being signed by the UFC, “I knew he was going to give me that contract, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. I’m 17, and I’m 6-0.”
“I know what I can do and (White) knows what I can do. Well, he really doesn’t know, but he’ll soon know what I can do. I wanted to fight this Saturday, but I heard there is no event this Saturday, so I will fight when they have another event. I’m just ready to go out there and kill.”
Rosas may be young, but his goals don’t end with just joining the UFC. “El Niño Problema” is aiming to make history in the Octagon by becoming the youngest champion in UFC history, a record currently held by Jon Jones, who won the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship for the first time at 23 years and 242 days in 2011.
“I’m ready to fight, every week, every month, I don’t care,” the teenager went on, “I’m all gas, no break. Like I said, I’ll rest when I’m retired, when I’m old. You know, we’re just getting started, so there’s no reason to pause.”
“I know it won’t be easy, but nothing is easy in this life. I will become the youngest UFC champion. I don’t care what it takes, no one will take it away from me. If I could fight in the top five in my UFC debut, I would, but I have to progress that far, and I will be there soon. I will become the youngest UFC champion when I am 19, 20, 21.
