Reebok may pay fighters very less, but Conor McGregor inks a $5 Million deal with them

It goes without saying that Conor McGregor without a doubt the biggest stars in MMA and his popularity transcends the sport. Thanks to his popularity and drawing power, Conor McGregor has established himself a legitimate PPV draw with every fight of his selling over a million PPV buys.

Such is his popularity and star power that his last fight was in the boxing ring and it sold a record 4.4 million PPV buys in North America. He is also a very lucrative figure for numerous advertisers, especially Reebok which is the official apparel and clothing sponsor for the UFC.

Reebok may pay fighters very less, but Conor McGregor inks a $5 Million deal with them

Although over the years both UFC and Reebok have received criticism from fighters and fans for paying the fighters less money, it turns out it’s not a problem for Conor McGregor who makes a bank from Reebok.

McGregor recently signed a new monster deal with Reebok which according to his manager Audie Attar will offer him north of $5 Million. His old deal with Reebok expired last year and he wasn’t sponsored by Reebok for the Mayweather vs McGregor super fight. This new deal comes a day after McGregor signed a new multi-year, million-dollar deal with Monster Energy.

The Reebok pay aka Fight Incentive pay, year to date total for the 28 events this year is about 5Million.
