Njokuani (25-10 MMA) is coming into the battle having won two straight fights, most recently defeating Jared Gooden via unanimous decision in October. Before those victories, the 36-year-old had a losing record of three fights.

A kick is caught by Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, who then exploits it to secure a takedown. Chidi immediately rises again, but Dos Santos is now lying on his back. Good knees to the thigh from Elizeu. The first round has one minute left. The combatants escape the cage. To end the first round, Njokuani delivered more kicks.

After we restart, Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos is still having trouble determining his range and getting closer. Chidi connects two nice body kicks. In response, Dos Santos offers one of his own. With a rush, he jumps in, but he swallows his knee and falls. This one is all over thanks to Chidi Njokuani’s heavy ground and pounding! Whoa!
