Former UFC middleweight title challengers Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori are all set to collide against each other in their middleweight matchup at UFC 275. The fight will take place on June 11, 2022, at a TBD location. The fight is not been officially announced by the UFC but according to the sources, the fight is a done deal. Both of them have previously challenged the UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya for the championship and both of them lost their fight against Adesanya. Robert Whittaker is the no.1 ranked middleweight in the UFC and Marvin Vettori is the no.3 ranked Middleweight ranked fighter.

In his last interview, Robert Whittaker had mentioned that he might face Marvin Vettori next and the fight might be announced sooner than everyone thinks.

“There might be something in the works,” Whittaker said with a grin. “I might have a name picked out, I might have a location picked out, and you know, I’m turning it around sooner than I normally do and just jumping straight back in there.

“It wasn’t part of the plan, but I was offered an opportunity, presented with it, and honestly, I don’t have any injuries from the last fight,” Whittaker said of the Vettori fight. “There’s a lot of things — just the date suits up, there’s a lot of things that I had planned for after the date. And I wanted to get three fights in this year, so hitting a potential fight in June is a good day for me.
