Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will be presenting the BMF title to the winner. Masvidal is extremely confident about winning the fight and to give him an ultimate boost, former four-division world champion Roberto ‘Manos De Pierda’ Duran will be walking Masvidal to the cage Saturday night. It’s no secret that Masvidal is a huge fan of Duran and has said so on multiple occasions.

During an interview on First Take, host Max Kellerman said that Masvidal reminded him most of was Roberto Duran who like Masvidal also grew up street fighting to ultimately become one of boxing’s greatest star.
“That’s the most humbling thing anybody has said about me on AIR,” Masvidal said on his comparison to Duran. “That’s my favourite fighter of all time. Duran’s style…man…I love it, man the aggression and he is just an animal that was domesticated enough to get into, but that’s a wild animal,” Masvidal concluded.
Roberto Duran was also present in the front row during UFC 244 weigh-ins.
