The fight is currently scheduled to take place at UFC 234. Adesanya is undefeated in his career with a record of 15-0 and has a 4-0 record to his name in the UFC after making his debut back in February 2018.
Silva, meanwhile, is 34-8 and defeated Derek Brunson back in February 2017 to end his five-fight run without a win. As per Silva, he is currently promised a title shot if he gets the better of Adesanya.
UFC 234 is scheduled to take place on February 10, 2019, in Melbourne, Australia. The fight card will be headlined by Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum.
