Nojus Namajunus, brother of the UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunus came out with his hands raised after a 2nd round TKO victory in his maiden attempt in fighting at the ‘5280 Muay Thai’ tournament. Rose and her boyfriend Patt Barry, who is a former UFC veteran was present at the tournament to support her little brother.
In the photo, Patt Barry is seen at Nojus’s corner giving him advice after the first round. If you look close Rose can also be seen among the crowd cheering her brother.
In the video posted by Nojus on his Instagram, he (in red) is seen dropping his opponent with an overhand right at the beginning of the second round, followed by which the referee interferes and stopped the fight. He had already dropped him at the end of the first, prior to this clip, after which the opponent (in blue ) was given a standing 8 count.
