‘Rumble’ to return at Submission Underground 9

Submission Underground Grappling (SUG) let their fans know on Friday that their 9th show is about to go down on July 7 live as they do from the Roseland Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

Despite SUG Founder Chael Sonnen announcing during the last event that SUG 9 will take place in Las Vegas, that obviously didn’t end up working out. In the featured bout, we’ll see the official return to competition for “Rumble” Johnson as he takes on one of the very best BJJ practitioners on the planet in Australia’s Craig Jones.

Not too long ago, Anthony Johnson was arrested for domestic assault. As described by the said victim, Johnson made his way to the apartment to talk through“an issue they had over the weekend.” The said victim claimed that they started packing Johnson’s stuff when “he came into the room and picked her up in a ‘football hold’ and carried her into another room.”

According to Johnson, the said victim apparently followed him into the room to carry on the argument. Johnson mentioned that he asked her to leave him be and to stop talking to him, but it was of no use. Johnson admits that he picked the said victim up and moved the victim to a different room only “to get her away from him.”
