ONE Championship has added one more big name to their roster, and this time, it’s Sage Northcutt. The announcement of Northcutt’s signing was made by ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong on Twitter.

This was subsequently followed by an official announcement on ONE’s Twitter page. You can see the tweet from Sityodtong below.
Please join me in giving a big welcome to multiple-time karate world champion, Black Belt Hall of Famer, and rising global mixed martial arts superstar Sage Northcutt to ONE Championship! @sagenorthcutt

It’s an honor to be a part of the One Championship family! I’m looking forward to being a part of something great 👊🏼

The 22-year-old Northcutt currently holds a professional record of 11-2 to his name. He was on a three-fight winning streak prior to his departure from the UFC with his last win coming up against Zak Ottow at UFC Boise back in July.
Earlier, Dana White had noted that Northcutt ‘needs some work’.
“We let Sage go. Sage is young and Sage needs some work. So let him get some work in one of these other organizations and we’ll see where this kid ends up in a couple of years and maybe we’ll pick him back up again,” Dana said.
