Sean Strickland is in the headlines once again, but this time, former UFC fighters’ names have also appeared, and not for the right reasons.
The top dog in mixed martial arts promotion, UFC hosts majority of its fights in the USA, but sometimes its fights take place offshore at different corners of the world, and Philippines is one of them.
However, Sean Strickland has come up with some narrative of his experience in the East Asian country. Revisiting his memories of fighting in Philippines, the UFC Middleweight Cham dropped some bombshells while making some scathing remarks about his experience in the country, which in his words, is a “f****d up” place.
In a recent post he made on X, “Tarzan” alleged that many former MMA fighters would travel to the Philippines for vacation, but the real reason that he cites was to visit “Young Prost***tes” in the country.
“Fought in the Philippines once.. Most f**ked up place I’ve ever seen. There were girls advertising their age. Very young. Wealthy men, ex-UFC fighters with young prost***tes on their arms. These dirty f**ks vacation in those Asian countries. It’s not even hidden. Sc*m,” Strickland wrote in his post.

Sean Strickland to fight Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297
Strickland shook the MMA scene when he went the distance to dethrone Israel Adeasnya at UFC 293 back in September 2023 to become the new 185-pound monarch, and will be making his first title defense against Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 on 20th January in Toronto.
The win over Adesanya has put Strickland on a 3-0 win streak and is expected to continue his reign as the middleweight champ with a win over his South African opponent to mark a winning start to 2024.
For his part, du Plessis has gone undefeated eight times in a row, and his most recent triumph is over Robert Whittaker at UFC 290 in July. “Stillknocks” is currently ranked 2nd in the division.
