When Sean Strickland is on the headline, it always gets interesting. And this time, the UFC middleweight got involved with Dale Brown, the self-proclaimed self-defense ‘expert’ TikToker.
During a visit to a gun store in Las Vegas, Strickland met Brown from Detroit Urban Survival Training’s (D.U.S.T’s). Infamous for his dodgy self-defense tips, Brown’s methods have often been debunked by many actual self defense experts and martial artists on the internet.
However, Strickland wanted to find the truth himself.
In the clip shared the fighter on Instagram, Strickland and Brown are seen in the gun store. As Brown starts to display a self defense technique on Strickland, the fighter retaliates with some soft knee strikes to Brown, who topples and falls backwards on a display filled with firearms.
While he showed that Brown’s methods are ineffective in real life situations, Strickland apologized right away and even offered to help clean up the mess. Brown, on the other hand, seemed unfazed.
“Well I will say that felt mildy uncomfortable but I think I should start a self defense program???? What should i call it??? last time I get invited to any events lol Thanks for having me @thegunstore,” Strickland captioned the post.
