Sean Strickland doesn’t believe Jake Paul has enough credibility to offer him a fight worth $1 million.
“Tarzan” recently made headlines after doing a live stream along with controversial streamer Sneako, who has been undergoing boxing training and was seen inside the Octagon at the UFC Apex with Strickland.
While sharing the cage with the UFC Middleweight Champion was indeed a breakthrough moment for Sneako, it was quite an easy job to predict how the session would end. After taking things slow at first, Strickland quickly changed his pace, continuing to batter Sneako despite his corner throwing in the towel.

Jake Paul takes offense at Sean Strickland’s beatdown of Sneako
Soon after the clip of Strickland’s beatdown of Sneako went viral, YouTuber-turned-boxer and PFL fighter Jake Paul came forward, revealing that he has taken an issue with how Strickland brutalized Sneako in the cage.
In a post he made on X (formerly Twitter), “The Problem Child” went after Strickland. While recalling his 2022 feud with Paddy Pimblett, Paul called out Strickland by claiming that he goes after “inexperienced people”, while offering the middleweight champion $1 Million for a fight.
“Shawn Strickland you’re embarrassing for trying to stop sneako like that,” wrote Paul. “you weren’t even able to drop someone with no experience while going all out. You’re a horrid boxer that only picks on inexperienced people..I’ll fly you to PR and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you $1 million (half your net worth) But if you get dropped you have to get Betr tattooed on you. DM me. But just like paddy I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run.”
In his prompt response, Strickland hit back at Paul by mentioning his defeat to Tommy Fury last February, addressing the Brit as a “part time boxer”.
“You lost to a part-time boxer lol….” Strickland replied.
You lost to a part time boxer lol….
