Seth Rollins shares his honest opinion on Michael Chandler
During an interview with Submission Radio, Rollins commented on Chandler’s energetic promo, noting that the UFC fighter seemed hyped up. While acknowledging Chandler’s enthusiasm, Rollins suggested that he could benefit from slowing down a bit and enjoying the material more as he stated “He could slow down a bit, have a little fun, he needs some work, but pretty good for a first ride, you know.”
Seth Rollins mentioned that Chandler had adrenaline coursing through his veins during the promo but appreciated the genuine and heartfelt nature of his appearance. He also expressed support for Chandler’s understanding of the entertainment side of the combat sports industry as he said:
“It was real, it was from the heart, and he’s cool man, he’s a big fan of what we do, he understands the entertainment aspect of kind of the fight game, so, I dug it man.”
Seth Rollins concluded by expressing his approval of Chandler’s performance and his hope that Chandler achieves his goal of facing McGregor as he stated “…and I hope he gets what he wants.”
Michael Chandler made a bold appearance on WWE Monday Night RAW, held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, two days after UFC 298. Chandler, who has been eagerly awaiting a matchup with Conor McGregor, took the microphone and delivered an intense promo calling out the Irish fighter. Chandler expressed frustration over the prolonged wait, urging McGregor to return to the octagon and settle their “unfinished business.”
The appearance marked a notable crossover between WWE and UFC, a rarity since the organizations merged under the TKO banner in 2023. While UFC CEO Dana White hopes for the matchup in the fall, he acknowledges uncertainty due to McGregor’s busy schedule, including film commitments.
