Thai striker Shadow Singha Mawynn delivered a spectacular spinning backfist knockout that sent shockwaves through the featherweight Muay Thai division, crushing #2-ranked contender Bampara Kouyate at 1:20 of the second round.

The #3-ranked contender’s stunning victory over the higher-ranked French-Malian fighter earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus and extended his winning streak to six consecutive victories.

Shadow’s mother witnessed the career-defining moment ringside, making the celebration even more special when he received his bonus inside the ring following the spectacular finish.

“I saw him go down, and I didn’t think he was going to get up. But also, if he managed to get up, I was also ready to give him another set of weapons to knock him out,” Shadow explained.

The 25-year-old Thai fighter showed tremendous respect for his defeated opponent despite the emphatic nature of his victory.

“I think Kouyate is a very skilled fighter. He has made a lot of improvements in himself, just coming up to the ranking. I have a lot of respect for him,” Shadow acknowledged.

The victory carried deep personal significance, with Shadow dedicating his performance to his biggest supporter.

“I’m very happy to get the win and the bonus today, and I’m also very happy that my mom has come to support me every fight. And I am determined to get every win to put a smile on my mom’s face every time,” he revealed.

With nearly 100 fights of experience and a 6-1 ONE record, Shadow has positioned himself as a legitimate threat to reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai.

The knockout artist wasted no time calling for a title opportunity following his impressive performance.

“If one day, as if this is inevitable, and I have to face [Tawanchai] him, then I will be ready. And I will always want to fight someone who’s the best of the best, so I think we have to face each other,” Shadow declared.
