UFC made a huge announcement last day. The promotion noted that UFC 230 will be headlined by the Women’s Flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Sijara Eubanks.
The news evoked mixed reactions from the fans as the popularity of Eubanks came into question. Even UFC Commentator Joe Rogan expressed his displeasure in UFC’s decision. Rogan noted that he doesn’t even know Eubanks despite being the promotion’s main commentator.
And now, Eubanks has come out in her defence. Eubanks noted on her twitter that she is on a four-fight winning streak at the moment and indicated that she deserves to be on the card. You can see the tweet from Eubanks below.

The fans on Twitter, however, decided to give Eubanks some bold replies. Many pointed out that amateur and exhibitions fights cannot be counted. Some others reminded Eubanks that her professional record is standing at 3-2.
Either way, Eubanks will have a chance to get hold of the title at UFC 230 and she can shut down all her haters if she wins the title.
