Stipe Miocic trolls himself; says he ‘fought like a bitch’ against Cormier early on

Earlier today, Stipe Miocic became the two-time heavyweight champion of the world as he knocked out Daniel Cormier in the fourth round at UFC 241 which took place in Anaheim, California.

Miocic who lost the first fight via knockout in the first round at UFC 226 got the ultimate the revenge today in Honda Center. He adjusted the game plan perfectly after being behind on all the three judges scorecards. He dug Cormier’s body and later followed it up with hard right hand to the top which dropped Cormier and then Stipe rushed with combinations until the referee had to step in and stop the fight.

Miocic acknowledged the fact that for the first three rounds he fought poorly and was visibly upset at his performance.

I was fighting like a b—h,” Miocic told reporters at the post-fight interview at UFC 241. “I really was. I don’t take nothing from ‘DC.’ He’s tough. He’s fought the best in the world and he’s beat the best in the world. It took me a little time to get my mojo, and I just wasn’t feeling it. When I walked out for that fourth round, I knew it was going to be over. I could just see his face, the way he was sweating, the way his hips were moving. I knew it was going to be over.”

Now the biggest question is as to against whom is he going to defend his title next and Miocic offered no future opponents.

Everyone’s question after I fight is, ‘Who are you going to fight next?’” Miocic said. “Honestly, I just bought a new home, lived there for two weeks. I’m going to go in the hot tub, the pool, let my body rest and then we’ll take it from there.” (H/T – MMAJunkie.com)
