Raquel Pennington was slated to be the next title challenger for UFC bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes at UFC 219 but a broken leg forced her out from the fight. Rumors were that women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will face Amanda Nunes in a PPV event but Cyborg will fight newcomer Yana Kunitskaya at the main event of UFC 222.
Now UFC is thinking about rescheduling of their fight for the women’s bantamweight title at UFC 224. Amanda Nunes(15-4) vs. Raquel “Rocky” Pennington (9-5) reportedly being discussed for UFC224 in Rio de Janeiro. It will be a good fight for the MMA fans.
