In the main card of UFC 239 last Sunday, welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal scored a brutal five-second knockout win over former Bellator and ONE championship welterweight champion Ben Askren at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
As the bell for the first round rang, Jorge Masvidal ran across the cage and smashed Askren with a stunning knee to the face which dropped him unconscious and then Jorge followed up with two punches to the face before referee Jason Herzog had to step in. The knockout was probably the most devastating one of the year and also the fastest ever in the UFC.
Today Askren took to Twitter and send out a tweet.
If I can’t remember it that means it didn’t happen right???
