Conor Mcgregor has been involved in some strange stuff recently.

First came the incident at Bellator with him charging into the cage and ending up the night slapping a Bellator executive and pushing referee Marc Goddard.

After trying to go incognito for some time, notwithstanding some interesting Instagram posts with back and forths with Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Dela Hoya…

He has now burst onto the scene again with a reported run in with an associate of a major crime gang linked to the mass importation of cocaine at a pub in Dublin. The man, who is an associate of the Kinahan cartel but is not involved in criminality himself, stepped in to intervene after another man was hit with ‘one punch’ to the head.

Senior security sources in Ireland suspect the Kinahan cartel may now ‘intervene’ to ‘try to diffuse’ defuse’ the row before it ‘escalates’.

A senior source said: ‘No – one wants to see one of Ireland’s most high-profile sports celebrities – and icon to kids all over Ireland –dragged into a bitter row involving serious criminals. There is a possibility that the cartel might now get involved to stop anyone escalating further. Conor McGregor is well liked and respected,’ a source said. Sources stressed last night that officers are still not investigating the incident as no criminal complaint has been made. Security sources say gardaí have ‘no plans’ to launch an investigation unless a complaint is lodged.

And today, UFC President Dana White, stated that McGregor may never fight again, because people who have made a lot of money like he has ($100 million for the fight against Flyod Mayweather), may not want to get inside the Octagon again to get punched in the face.

All we know is, that usually when Dana White says a fighter doesn’t want to fight, or a fight isn’t happening, the opposite usually takes place.

Stay tuned to hear what happens next in the Conor Mcgregor saga.
