Daniel Cormier shocked the entire combat sports world when he defeated the most dominant UFC heavyweight champion of all time, Stipe Miocic, that too via a knockout in the very first round itself. Ever since, Miocic has been pushing for a rematch. This past Monday, Miocic put out a video in which he claimed that Cormier owed him a rematch, because he would have done the same for him. However, later DC boldly responded by tweeting that he does not owe Miocic anything at all. All this has now apparently started a war of tweets between the two.
Later Cormier put out another tweet asking his followers whether they want to know why he is not fighting Miocic again. He later responded by posting another tweet which labelled three reasons, one of which claimed that Miocic was being entitled. The Celevland native fired back by saying that he offered to fight Cormier at UFC 230, yet DC chose to fight Derrick Lewis.
Below is the tweet by Cormier in which he lists the reasons why he is not fighting Miocic again:
Reason 1: he’s being entitled, why have I fought since and he hasn’t. He lost the fight is he still the champ? Reason 2: I’m hurt Reason3: how do I do it better? I beat him in a round last time ? https://t.co/sQF4Wu5q6P
