A WWE Hall of Famer has decided to hang up his boots for good. The legendary wrestler, known as The Undertaker, will no longer have wrestling matches apart from making special appearances when needed. After putting his body on the line for over three decades, entertaining fans with his awe-inspiring on-screen presence, the 59-year-old’s last match came at WrestleMania 36, where he defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match.
Since then, he has made several cameos in WWE, including a recent appearance at WrestleMania 40, where he evened the odds for Cody Rhodes against Roman Reigns in a “Bloodline Rules” match.
The Undertaker Sheds Light on His Future
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, The Undertaker addressed the possibility of returning to the ring for one more match. He stated, “I could do it, but I couldn’t do it to the standard that I wanted to do it. But I mean yeah, there’s certain things that I don’t feel like I would be able to do.”
“But after I did it, I came back and I was like, I’m good now. I don’t need to do this again. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t if they needed something like that again, but I’m not gonna have a match or I’m not coming out of retirement”.
The Undertaker’s legacy remains intact, and fans continue to cherish the memories of his remarkable career. While he won’t step back into the squared circle, his impact on professional wrestling will forever be etched in history.
