Thiago Santos made his Light Heavyweight debut last day at UFC Sao Paolo. Not only did he impress in his debut in the weight category, but he also secured a devastating knockout win over Eryk Anders.
Both fighters locked horns in the main event of the fight night with Santos securing a third round TKO. After the fight, Santos showed his respect to Anders by tweeting out a warm message.
“Much respect for this guy. When they gave me @erykanders as a Fight option I did not expect anything different from what it was, a real war. @erykanders , thank you for the honor of the battle. You are a warrior and a guy for the good. @ufc #UFCSaoPaulo,” Santos tweeted.

With the win, Santos is now 19-6 in his professional career. He is also on a two-fight winning streak at the moment. Now that his Light Heavyweight debut went well, Santos has noted that he is willing to test out the division a bit more. He has also expressed his desire to fight Jimi Manuwa in December.
