In the recently updated UFC rankings, three top-15 flyweights have been removed from the rankings. The trade-off of Demetrious Johnson to ONE Championship was the biggest indicator that the UFC was looking to end the flyweight division and as told by Jose Torres that Dana White has never ever been a fan of the flyweight division, all points toward the end of flyweight division in the UFC soon.

And the updated rankings show that things are going in that direction. The removed three fighters are Brandon Moreno, Hector Sandoval and Matheus Nicolau.

Brandon Moreno has an MMA career record of 14 wins and 5 losses of which UFC record is 3 wins – 2 losses.

Hector Sandoval (32) has an MMA career record of 14-wins and 4-losses of which UFC record is 2 wins – 2 losses.

Matheus Nicolau has an MMA career record of 13 wins and 2 losses of which UFC record is 3 wins – 1 loss.

Aaron Bronsteter of TSN sports tweeted, ” It appears that Hector Sandoval, Brandon Moreno and Matheus Nicolau have been removed from the flyweight rankings. This typically indicates that they are no longer with the promotion.
If I’m Combate Americas, I’m signing Moreno as soon as humanly possible.
