UFC 229 didn’t go as per plan for Conor McGregor as he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov via submission in the fourth round.
Few hours after the fight Conor McGregor expressed his desire for a rematch.
Like Conor, many people have expressed their thoughts and they don’t believe Conor deserves a rematch as the match was pretty one-sided.
UFC’s first featherweight champion, Jose Aldo who has a rivalry with Conor said he wants a rematch.
Jose Aldo tweeted in his native tongue
“Não tem pra onde correr!Chegou a hora!it’s time! @TheNotoriousMMA”
which in English means “There’s nowhere to run! It’s time!”

Jose Aldo is coming off an impressive TKO victory over Jeremy Stephens last July.
UFC 194 marked the first fight between these two. Though the fight ended with the iconic one-punch knockout in 13 seconds and that fight escalated McGregor’s career further to superstardom.
Though when their first fight ended Conor told Jose that they will go again but things changed as Conor had much better options than fighting Jose Aldo again.
Now, this opens more options for Conor McGregor. As he can have Diaz or a rematch with Khabib, or maybe even a super-fight with Georges St-Pierre.
