Former UFC light heavyweight champion in response to a fan’s comment on his Instagram post stated that he wants to become a cop in order to bring respect back to officers, in the wake up increasing disputes around Unites States in the wake of George Floyd’s death after he was the victim of police brutality.

On Tuesday night, Tito Ortiz made the following post on Instagram, raising his voice for the USA in the wake up increasing violence amid the Black Lives Matter protests around the country.

After one user commented that “he’s is losing hope in humans.” Ortiz was quick to reply comment and suggested, “don’t you dare give up. We need you I need you. You can do it. I’m going to be a police officer. I can help bring respect back to officers. We should be treat each other how we want to be treated.

Tito Ortiz believes George Floyd died of a heart condition

While the comment made by Tito Ortiz to a user who complained about “losing hope in humans” may have been nothing but words of motivation for the fellow American, Ortiz has largely strayed away from the narrative of the ongoing protest in the USA. At a time when the Unites States is fighting against police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s death, who was a victim of police brutality, Ortiz feels otherwise.

Tito claimed that George Floyd died because of an accident. In the video posted on social media, Tito Ortiz can be seen suggesting that it’s impossible to choke somebody to death from how the police officer had handled George Floyd following arrest.

“Guy getting supposedly killed by an officer. When I say supposedly is because, to put you knee in the back of a guy’s neck and choke him unconscious to death from that. that’s not what it is. I choke people for a living. that’s not what it looks like.”

In the past, Tito Ortiz has claimed that George Floyd died because of a heart condition and the officer who was arrested looked nothing like the officer who had arrested him in the first place. “I’m not saying it’s right. It’s completely wrong. The cop should have never did that. But the cop that got arrested looks nothing like the cop that did it. Crazy. The only reason I say this shit is because I speak the truth.”

Ortiz had claimed that Presidential candidate Joe Biden may have a lot to do with the the ongoing protest. “All of the sudden when Biden said ‘If you ain’t vote for me you ain’t black,’” Ortiz said on social media recently. “What’s the best way to do it? Oh let’s go ahead and let a officer supposedly kill a black guy. You know he died from a heart condition right? It wasn’t suffocation. Crazy.”
