TJ Dillashaw to reportedly fight Cejudo for the Flyweight title at UFC 233

Current UFC Bantamweight champion T.J Dillashaw will move down in weight class to challenge UFC Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo at UFC 233 at the Honda Center in Anaheim on January 26.

Henry Cejudo beat former UFC pound-for-pound flyweight champion Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson at UFC 227 which took place in Los Angeles, California. On the same card in the main event, TJ Dillashaw successfully defended his bantamweight title in a rematch against Cody Garbrandt by knocking him out in the very first round. He won the title last year when he knocked out Cody in the second round at UFC 217.

The UFC 233 card will also feature Dominick Cruz vs John Lineker, while Paul Felder will fight James Vick which and Islam Makhachev will fight Francisco Trinaldo.

has been confirmed by the UFC. Latest trade signee Ben Askren will also make his UFC debut against Robbie Lawler.

There have also been talks about UFC possibly scrapping the flyweight division and UFC has also released flyweight contender Jose Torres.

Even though the fight is taking place at flyweight division, it might also be true that this title fight could very well be the last flyweight title fight to take place in UFC.
