Current UFC Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw who will move down in weight class to challenge UFC Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York on Jan. 19 on ESPN+ streaming platform.

Henry Cejudo beat former UFC pound-for-pound flyweight champion Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson at UFC 227 which took place in Los Angeles, California. On the same card in the main event, TJ Dillashaw successfully defended his bantamweight title in a rematch against Cody Garbrandt by knocking him out in the very first round. He won the title last year when he knocked out Cody in the second round at UFC 217.

It will be a daunting task for both the fighters, but according to Dillashaw this fight is so much more than being called ‘Champ Champ’. He wants to be the GOAT and wants to prove that he is the greatest P4P fighter.

It’s not just so much to be the champ-champ,” Dillashaw said at a recent media lunch (via MMA Junkie). “It’s just that I feel that I’m the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I train very hard. I put everything in there, I’m a very well-rounded fighter, and it’s about time to get to prove it.

I want to show my dominance everywhere and really take that No. 1 spot. I want to be able to have that throne,” he said. “That’s why I was chasing (Demetrious Johnson), and now I’m just chasing my own legacy.
