Bantamweight prospect Tom ‘Fire Kid’ Duquesnoy (16-2-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) was supposed to make his fourth appearance under the UFC banner on possibly one of the biggest card of the year at the T-Mobile Arena at UFC 232 in Las Vegas. But Tom Duquesnoy has pulled out of the card due to medical problems.
Tom Duquesnoy had also changed training camps from Jacksonwink MMA to Team Alpha Male in Sacremento citing their expertise in the lower weight class.
“After different MRI and medical exams, an intercostal hematoma will keep me out of training for the next month and a half and unable to compete for the next fight scheduled for December 29,” Duquesnoy revealed on Instagram.
“We are working to re-schedule it for February and for now, it’s time for recovery and medical care.”
