Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury, one of the most anticipated boxing matches from last year which later went to cold storage, is now finally getting some heat as none other than Fury himself has confirmed to face his grudge rival on 6th August at the Madison Square Garden, New York.
Jake Paul and Tommy Fury were supposed to square off on 18th December last year, a bout which saw massive hype, as well as the heated verbal exchanges between the two celebrity boxers in the lead up to the fight. Unfortunately, Fury pulled out of the fight due to a fractured rib and chest infection, and Jake went onto face former adversary Tyron Woodley for a second time.
After a brutal KO of Woodley in their rematch, Paul is on a break from the ring but has been in dialogues involving future bouts against Mike Tyson, Nate Diaz, and many more combat sports icons and also recently announced a return at the Madison Square Garden in August. Nonetheless, the resentment with Fury is far from over.

“The Problem Child” later posted another clip on Twitter, saying that boxing is “dying” because of boxers like Fury and also gave the Briton a 24 hour deadline to accept the offer.

“TNT”, responded to the callout from Paul by confirming a showdown on 6th August, also thanking him for agreeing to drug testing.
“The fight is on. August 6th. Forget a team or any other bullshit. I don’t need anybody to help me lay you flat on that canvas. Oh and thanks for finally signing the drug testing… you only agreed to it when you realised the fight was at risk – who needs who,” tweeted Fury.
