The former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is now back inside the octagon, back to full fitness and is doing what he does best, i.e. beating up his opponents black and blue to a pulp. El Cucuy after getting past Donald Cerrone at UFC 238 now has his eyes set on the current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and the former UFC champ champ Conor McGregor.
Ferguson recently stated in his post-event press conference interview that Nurmagomedov needs an a** whopping and he is also ready to face and defeat ‘McNuggets’ in a fight. Here’s what he had to say:
If Dustin Poirier don’t do it, I’m going to do it, Tiramisu [Khabib Nurmagomedov] needs an ass whooping. He needs two to the stomach from me. If it’s McNuggets [Conor McGregor] for a money fight or whatever. He’s an athlete, too. I know the division misses him inside here. I’m pretty sure he misses the fight game, too.
I want to keep winning. What sounds better than 12 [wins in a row]? 13 — but it sounds a hell of a lot better with a title shot in that 13th victory.
