Turki Alalshikh, a prominent figure in the boxing world, has set his sights on expanding MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in Saudi Arabia. Following the success of the first UFC fight card in the country, Alalshikh aims to make an even greater impact. His ambitious plan? To create a UFC movie that captures the spirit of triumph and adversity, much like the acclaimed film “Cinderella Man.”
Turki Alalshikh’s Vision
In an exclusive interview, Alalshikh expressed his desire to bring the UFC to the silver screen. He envisions a big-budget movie that combines heart-pounding action with compelling storytelling. Inspired by the classic boxing film “Cinderella Man,” Alalshikh wants to collaborate with two key players: UFC President Dana White and renowned director Zack Snyder.
Alalshikh stated, “I want to have a meeting with [Dana White] and the director Zack Snyder, who’s a friend. We want to talk about doing [a] big movie about the UFC. Like ‘The Cinderella Man’ [or] something like this.” His enthusiasm is palpable, and he hopes to convince both White and Snyder to embark on this cinematic journey.
Turki Alalshikh wants the next UFC event in Saudi Arabia to have 30K in attendance and also have woman on the card. Says it will happen in Q1 2025.

Dana White’s Approval
During the UFC broadcast, Alalshikh shared his vision with Dana White. The UFC President appeared intrigued, nodding in agreement as Alalshikh outlined his thoughts. While no further details were revealed, White’s positive response suggests that the idea resonated with him.
Alalshikh’s next challenge is to win over Zack Snyder, the visionary director behind films like “300” and “Man of Steel.” Snyder has yet to publicly comment on the proposal, but Alalshikh remains optimistic. With Snyder’s talent for epic storytelling and visual flair, a UFC movie directed by him could be a cinematic knockout.
