Stipe Miocic became the two-time heavyweight champion of the world as he knocked out Daniel Cormier in the fourth round at UFC 241 which took place in Anaheim, California.

Miocic who lost the first fight via knockout in the first round at UFC 226 got the ultimate the revenge today in Honda Center. Initially, Cormier was dominating the fight with his hard jabs and was countering Miocic at will. However, from the fourth round, Miocic changed his strategy and dug Cormier’s body with hard straight jabs which seemed to cause Cormier lot of problems. With both fighters tired, Miocic landed a hard body shot followed by a right hook on the top which stumbled Cormier and sent him back against the cage. Miocic then followed up with hard shots to Cormier’s face until referee Herb Dean stepped in and stopped the fight.
