Former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury defeated Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas via unanimous decision.

The ringside judges scored the fight 16-112, 117-111 and 118-110 in favor of Manchester native. With this win, the Briton improves his professional record to 29-0-1, out of which 20 wins have come inside the distance.

Even though the scorecards look wide, it tells us little about how the fight went. It didn’t go the way Fury had planned as Wallin who was a huge 30/1 underdog cut open Fury’s left eye with a hard jab after which it started bleeding profusely leaving him dependent on just one eye to go through for the rest of the fight. However, he overcame adversity and defeated Otto Wallin.

It is all heart and determination,” said Fury. “If I can keep going I will keep going. He’s a tough guy. I hit him with some chin shots and some body shots, and he kept coming. He [was] undefeated, but tonight I was the man.”
