Reigning two-sport ONE World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai enters his kickboxing title unification bout against Jonathan Di Bella with supreme confidence. He’s banking on his physical conditioning and preparation for the main event of ONE Fight Night 36 on 4 October in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 30-year-old Thai striker holds both the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Championships and brings 344 career victories to this highly anticipated rematch. He most recently defended his Muay Thai crown against Ellis Badr Barboza via fourth-round TKO in February 2025.
Prajanchai’s assessment of his 29-year-old opponent reveals both respect and calculated confidence about exploiting his vulnerabilities.
“For me, Di Bella’s strength is his aggression. His weakness is that he can’t do anything if he doesn’t walk forward. I want to end this fight quickly,” the two-sport king explained about his game plan.
The Italian-Canadian challenger has earned this rematch through impressive momentum, defeating legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in March 2025.
The Montreal-based Team Di Bella Kickboxing representative holds a 4-1 ONE Championship record and 14-1 overall.
Their first encounter in June 2024 saw Prajanchai capture the vacant title via unanimous decision, establishing his dominance in the division. Now he defends against the interim champion with new weapons in his arsenal.
“I don’t think he has much to offer besides his speed. His combination is just a one-two followed by a low kick or a one-two to the body blow. But in this fight, we don’t know what he’ll add. I’ve definitely added some new weapons,” Prajanchai said.
The Thai’s physical condition has him feeling unstoppable heading into the five-round ONE World Championship bout.
“I want to trade with him. Whether it’s punches or anything else. My body feels like it can fight for 12 or 15 rounds right now. Five rounds are not enough,” he said.
