In a recent social media spat, Paddy Pimblett and Renato Moicano have reignited their feud following Moicano’s first-round submission loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC 311. Pimblett didn’t hold back, taking to his social media to blast Moicano for tapping out so quickly.

Moicano stepped in on short notice to challenge Makhachev for the lightweight title after Arman Tsarukyan withdrew due to a back injury. Despite a strong start, Moicano was quickly overwhelmed by Makhachev’s wrestling prowess and was submitted via D’Arce choke in the opening round.

Pimblett wasted no time in responding to Renato Moicano’s loss, posting on social media: “I’m not talking sht Renato I’m talking facts, u tapped after like 2 seconds like a btch. Only chance you’ll ever get to be a @ufc world champ & u quit like an absolute sausage! I’d make u quit just like Islam did you.”

Renato Moicano fired back, stating that Pimblett would face the same fate if they ever fought, highlighting that Pimblett has never taken a short-notice fight. The exchange has sparked interest in a potential matchup between the two fighters, with fans eagerly awaiting a possible clash at UFC London.

Pimblett, who is undefeated in the UFC with a six-fight win streak, most recently secured an opening-round submission win against King Green at UFC 304. Moicano, on the other hand, has been vocal about his belief that the UFC favors Pimblett due to his large following and marketability.

The heated exchange has only fueled the fire between the two fighters, with both expressing interest in facing each other in the octagon. As the MMA community continues to buzz with excitement, fans are left wondering if and when this highly anticipated fight will finally take place.
