The MMA community did not react well to Conor Mcgregor’s outrageous behavior during the UFC 223 media day proceedings. Everyone concerned have shared his or her opinion and it doesn’t make for good reading on Mcgregor’s part. The usually out spoken welterweight contender Colby Covington did not waste time to let his thoughts be known as well.
I’ll bring in that coked up leprechaun myself! – Colby Covington
If that fugitive @TheNotoriousMMA is still on the lam when wheels touchdown in JFK I'll bring in that coked up leprechaun myself! #KingColbyTheBountyHunter #ufc223 #nerdbash2018

Colby Covington, who will be ringside on Saturday night promoting his UFC 224 welterweight interim title showdown with Rafael Dos Anjos, did not mince words. Colby suggested that Conor has a drug problem, and should be behind bars for his behavior last night.
Conor’s actions have now cost the promotion 3 fights directly. Michael Chiesa, who was facing Anthony Pettis had to pull out due to multiple lacerations to his face. Former flyweight challenger Ray Borg had his fight-cancelled vs Brandon Moreno, after it was found that he had glass shrapnel in his eyes and couldn’t open them. Dana White subsequently pulled Artem Lobov from his fight with Alex Caceres, after it was known that he was part of melee.
UFC 223 seems cursed since Tony Ferguson pulled out 3 days ago. Now, the promotion’s biggest PPV of the year is left with only 9 fights, which is an unusually low number.
