This was the biggest fight of Reyes’ career so far and he had his perfect record of 9-0 on the line against OSP who fought the best of the best in the light heavyweight division. Reyes started delivering nasty inside leg kicks that caught the attention of OSP who looked slow compared to his previous fights. OSP not gaining an upper hand in striking exchanges decided to go for a takedown. A cheeky elbow lands on his left eye and cuts him open. From there on it was a downfall for OSP who struggled to keep up the pace with Reyes. In the final round, OSP looked gassed out and took some heavy shots. His marginal error was capitalized by Reyes who ducked and pivoted to a clean straight left that dropped him on the mat right before the final bell rang. This was the first time that Reyes has fought for 3 full rounds.
