UFC 229 Results: Michelle Waterson Defeats Felice Herrig via Unanimous Decision

The Karate Hottie was on fire today with her kicks and elbows that took away most of Herrig’s confidence right from the first round. The entire first round, Michelle was fighting with a backfoot work as she moved from one side to another landing clean side kicks to the body and face of Herrig. As the fight progressed to the second round, Michelle was able to take Herrig down and put her in that position for most of the time. Herring did try to fought back and was almost transitioning to an arm bar but the time ran out. It was clear at this point that Michelle was on the lead so Herrig had to turn the tide around and she did with a beautiful hip toss as she reversed the take down. But Michelle fought from the ground and landed some vicious elbows as Herrig was unable to do much from the top position. A clean victory for Michelle who declared “I want to be the first UFC champ that’s a Mom.”
