The co-main event title fight between the two bantamweights just couldn’t go beyond the second round as Valentina Shevchenko was able to defend her belt successfully for the first time by knocking out Jessica Eye with a head kick. Shevchenko began unleashing body kicks in the first round and instantly got Jessica to respect her kicks. With a slick slip and clinch, Shevchenko took Jessica to the ground and kept her there for the most part of the first round. In the second round, Jessica came out cautious but the kick landed on her head instead of the body. With this spectacular win, Shevchenko is now 6-2 inside the octagon and ready to face her next flyweight opponent.
Title on the line.
