UFC 275 has now officially been revealed to be taking place on Saturday, 11th June, and will head for Singapore, the mixed martial arts top drawer’s fifth event, as well as the promotion’s first pay-per-view event in the East Asian country. Featuring a heavily stacked card with two title fights, UFC 275 will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, which is famed for being the primary venue for Singapore-based promotion ONE championship.
UFC 275: Teixeira vs Prochazka will be the fifth time in eight years that UFC will host an event in Singapore. The promotion held its first event in the country, UFC Fight Night: Saffiedine vs. Lim, back in 2014. It was followed by UFC Fight Night Singapore: Holm vs. Correia in 2017, and then UFC Fight Night Singapore: Cerrone vs. Edwards and UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Askren in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
On 11th June, UFC will return to Singapore after two years, bringing a mouth watering fight card for the MMA fans including two title fights. The main event will see reigning light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira taking on 2nd ranked Jiri Prochazka, while Valentina Shevchenko will defend her women’s flyweight crown against no 5 fighter Taila Santos.
UFC middleweight stalwarts Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori will trade blows on the undercard, along with another middleweight bout between Jacob Malkoun and Brendan Allen will also take place at the event. A Bantamweight bout between Kyung Ho Kang and Saimon Oliveira has also been added to the event.
