Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva was recently cleared to return back to action once his one-year suspension ends.
Silva was suspended for violation of USADA’s Anti-Doping Policy when he failed a test for metabolites of methyltestosterone and hydrochlorothiazide ahead of his scheduled fight against Kelvin Gastelum.
With his intention of making a comeback, ‘The Spider’ already has a callout. Surging undefeated middleweight Israel Adesanya recently took to Instagram to express his wish to fight one of his idol. (via Instagram):

Silva recently responded to Adesanya’s callout in an interview with CBS Sports. Silva unfortunately does not even know who Adesanya is.
“I don’t know this name, this guy,” Silva said of Adesanya. “I don’t know who is this guy. I’m so sorry, but I don’t know. I’ll go check. But that’s good, that’s good. I don’t know who this guy is, but now I’m just staying my focus on myself with me and my family and my team and my company. Let’s go see. I don’t know who is this guy, but I go check and I come back to talk to you about this guy.”
