With the most stacked pay per view event of this year, UFC 225, just one day away, the crescendo of excitement is reaching new heights not just by fighters who are supposed to fight, but also by fighters who are not fighting on the card. The co-main event is headlined by brash trash-talker Colby Covington who will fight Rafael Dos Anjos for the interim welterweight title.
During the media day faceoffs, while Colby was answering the reporter’s questions, the Chicago crowd chanted “Colby sucks”, responding to which he later sent out a tweet asking if this was how Chicago treated greatness and there was no wonder why Michael Jordan left this “dump”. In a reply to Covington, the Chicago born Palestinian and UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad warned him by saying that they don’t “throw boomerangs” in Chicago.
Be careful what you say we don’t throw boomerangs in Chicago 🤷🏽♂️ https://t.co/gpKeeAcDJ9

Belal was famously referring to Colby’s altercation with Fabricio Werdum in Sydney last November, wherein the latter threw a boomerang at Covington, rendering him a $600 Australian dollars as a fine.
