Not a lot of women in MMA have the courage of even accepting a fight against UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg let alone calling her out.
However former Invicta FC’s featherweight Pam Sorenson has done so.
UFC’s featherweight division is short of fighters, let alone the contender. Except Former Invicta FC featherweight champ Megan Anderson, all the other fighters are former bantamweights. Anderson lost her bout against Holly Holm at UFC 225 which takes her out of title contention. Holm has already faced Cris Cyborg and lost which takes her out of the equation.
Sorenson (7-2) has victories over current women’s flyweight stand out Jessica Rose-Clark and current UFC flyweight champion Nicco Montano. After not being selected for the Ultimate Fighter season 28, she has been campaigning for her shot at the title. (via Instagram):

Cyborg who is slated to fight bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes in a super fight, has other options as the bout is currently facing some negotiation problems. She has Sorenson on her radar as well. (via Instagram):
