Despite losing a hard fought battle via a split decision at UFC 225 aginst Claudia Gadelha, Carla Esparza is still not over her loss. After accusing Gadelha of “greasing” her way to a win, Esparza has now said in a tweet that she never was and never is afraid of facing Gadelha and has even asked for a rematch.

Prior to this, Esparza, while talking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, has accused Gadelha of cheating. Per Esparza, Gadelha had greased herself before coming to the fight, resulting in a much lesser grip for her. She said that since Gadelha was fighting a wrestler, she could understand why she would do something like that. She regretted not complaining to the refrees about it.

Even though Carla lost the fight, she believed that she had done her bit to win it. She felt that had Gadelha not been greased, she would have been far more dominant.
