Carlos Condit affectionately called the ‘The Natural Born Killer’ by his die-hard fans suffered his fourth loss on the trot on Saturday night against Alex ‘Cowboy’ Oliviera. Condit, a former Interim welterweight champion is riding the longest losing streak of his career. His career has somewhat gone off the rails ever since he lost his title bout vs Robbie Lawler back at UFC 195. Condit left his heart and soul in that fight and was on the wrong side of a split decision, which most fans and analysts disagreed with. Condit ever since has been toying with the idea of retirement and has not looked his old self.

Carlos Condit (30-12) started the fight well throwing his usual spectacular combos and submission attempts and almost ended the fight in the first round via RNC but was out of time. In the second round though, during a wild scramble Alex Oliviera got a hold Condit’s neck in a guillotine and choked him out. Condit passed out in the middle of the submission, was revived back and then eventually tapped out.

Carlos Condit might still have one more run in him. He has some unfinished business with the likes of Matt Brown and Robbie Lawler. Nevertheless, whether that was the last time we ever saw him in the octagon or not, he sure has one of the most bad-ass highlight reels in the history of the sport.
