Cat Zingano (9-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) has always been known for her spectacular accomplishments both inside and outside the octagon. With victories over former and current UFC women’s bantamweight champions in her first two fights with the UFC itself she raced her way to a title shot. She is the only fighter to give champion Amanda Nunes a setback in her UFC career by impressively finishing her in the third round after losing the first round.

On her debut, she was involved in a back and forth war with former champ Miesha Tate and eventually ended finishing her in the third round via a vicious knee and became the first woman to earn a ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus of $50,000 (alongwith Tate). This stamped the authority of women’s MMA remarking their presence in a male dominant organization like the UFC. She also became the first mother to compete in the UFC which further inspired a lot of women. Now she has come forward for an another initiative to help disadvantaged women and children in Brazil.

Zingano posted a picture on Instagram posing in a bikini for the Brazilian Fair Trade bikinis that contribute towards disadvantaged women and children. (via Instagram):

She explained that,”10% of the profit would go to street-child project CAMM. The project has existed for over 35 years in a slum called ‘Linda Do Tiro’ in the northeast of Brazil. The idea is to make it possible for women to work from home and build a sustainable way of life at the same time be able to take care of their children and their own education.”

This would further contribute towards eradicating poverty in Brazil. Zingano takes on veteran Marion Reneau at Fight Night 133 on July 14 in Boise, Idaho.
