CM Punk might be all set to make his MMA return at UFC 225 but he is still popular for his stint with the WWE as a professional wrestler. Like Punk transitioned into MMA from professional wrestling, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey had transitioned into the wrestling a few months back.

Apparently, prior to her move to WWE, Rousey got some advice from CM Punk. Punk revealed the same during an interview with MMA Fighting.
“The only thing I told her was to just have fun. I don’t know what it’s like back there in this current environment. I know she’d probably get treated differently, just as I know I probably get treated differently here. The only thing I ever told her is, ‘I know you’ve got a lot of people telling you, do this, don’t do this’ — whatever you do, when you go out there for WrestleMania, make sure you have fun. Period,” he said.
Punk had walked out of WWE due to creative differences a few years back and turned his attention to Mixed Martial Arts later.
