Earlier today the UFC announced an interesting heavyweight main event between former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum and contender Aleksei Oliynyk for the much anticipated UFC Moscow card in September. Both being black belts in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, the fans were expecting a technical bout on the ground if the fight does go that route.
However, the bout looks in trouble as Werdum was flagged by USADA for a potential violation of the UFC’s anti-doping policy.
The first to fire at Werdum was none other than former foe UFC interim welterweight title challenger Colby Covington. Covington wastes no time in slamming the fighters he has beef with and this time it was no different. He posted his statement on Twitter.
“Why am I not surprised that a slime bag like Fabricio Werdum is on the juice and pissed hot?! You do the crime you do the time, you FILTHY ANIMAL!” Covington wrote on Twitter. (via Twitter):

The rivalry between Covington and Werdum was ignited back in November 2017 in Australia when Werdum took on Marcin Tybura. A month ago, Covington after his win against Demian Maia, addressed the Brazilian crowd as ‘filthy animals’ while calling the country a ‘dump’ during his post fight speech.
This fueled the fire in Werdum which led to a road side brawl in Sydney. The brawl took a violent turn as Werdum hit Covington with a ‘boomerang’.
Covington also slammed Werdum after his KO loss against Alexander Volkov in March. Covington takes on another Brazilian in former UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos for the interim UFC welterweight title at UFC 225 in June.
