Earlier today Fight Night Denver got it’s main event as former UFC lightweight champion Frankie ‘The Answer’ Edgar takes on former featherweight title challenger ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung.
However any card is incomplete without a hometown hero. According to UFC President Dana White, Denver’s own Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone (33-11 MMA, 20-8 UFC) vs. ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry (12-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) is ‘good to go’ for the card.
The news was first broken by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. (via Twitter):
Also per Dana White, freaking Cowboy Cerrone vs. Mike Perry (!!!!!!) is “good to go” for UFC Fight Night on Nov. 10 in Denver.

Cerrone and Perry are now teammates training at Jackson Wink which makes their bout even more interesting.
Cowboy with 1-4 in his last five fights will look to get things back to the winning ways. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss against prospect Leon Edwards at Fight Night Singapore last month.
Perry is coming of a split decision victory against a very tuff Paul Felder at UFC 226. Perry showed drastic technical improvement in the fight which helped him to get the better of Felder.
The bout has ‘Fight of the Night’ credentials written all over it.
